Quarantine BINGO for Drummers - Printable Worksheet for Students

 

Challenge your drum students' listening skills with this fun listening game for drummers, "Quarantine BINGO!" As many of us are observing "Stay-at-Home" to slow the spread of the virus, drum teachers are seeking activities to help their students maintain (and develop) their drumming sharpness while at home. "Quarantine BINGO" is a listening exercise that challenges students to listen purposefully to the songs they hear each day.

By taking notice of the drum techniques used in songs, students will gain a deeper understanding of how these techniques are used to support professional music.

As an alternative, "Quarantine BINGO" can serve as a playing activity. In this version, students attempt to complete 5 boxes in a row by recording themselves playing the drum techniques identified in the boxes.
